REUTERS/Hannah McKay LONDON (Reuters) - Just over half of Britons back any final Brexit deal or agreement being put to a referendum, a poll showed on Wednesday with just over two months until Britain is due to leave the European Union. OneMoreFarang
Does it matter? It seems most UK politicians don't care what is good for the country and the majority of the UK citizens. They do what they think is good for them and what is good for their party. And that is obviously the case with most or all UK political parties. Disgusting! bristolboy
Hard to know what to make of this poll since I don't think Kantar, the people who did the poll, have much of a record to look at.

mommysboy
I don't think there will be a poll- too late for that! It can only cut two ways imo: leave with 'no deal', or revocation of Article 50. I wouldn't like to predict which it will be. It will at least be interesting!
Loiner
Yet another poll and more Remainer <deleted>. There will not be another referendum. They won’t let it happen because, like the last one, they can’t control the result. Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect

What the poster was saying is that 12% of all UK trade is exports, ie, 88% is generated within the country. Of that 12%, 48% is with the EU. It's still a big deal but needs to be seen in context. When posting, people tend to assume that all that trade with the EU will disappear. In fact it is more likely to be only somewhat or marginally effected. Since the referendum the pound has undergone a significant devaluation, such that the relatively small tariffs imposed by the EU would be more than offset. However, the general disruption such as border checks would undoubtedly dent trade.

They are not paid for by the manufacturer they are paid for by the customer. UK has already stated that imports from the EU will not be subject to tariffs. Cars exported from the UK would be subject to EU tariffs. The big problem is that car parts frequently move to and from the the UK during the process of manufacturing, and would thus incur multiple charges. This could ruin trade with the EU in this sector, in what is already a shrinking market.
