Thai media reported that a pig with two heads and four eyes was born on Wednesday in Sri Bun Ruang in Nong Bua Lamphu in Thailand's north east.

The piglet was thus given the name "24" (two heads, four eyes)

Two of the eyes were connected in the middle of the heads.

The owner's wife said that 24 was the ninth and last of a litter and contrary to expectations after a difficult birth was alive and well.

Local vets gave him a special little bed to rest in.

Unusually for such a story 77kaoded did not mention the lottery. Usually stories of unusual births in Thailand have villagers flocking to divine lottery numbers.

Thaivisa notes that maybe the name "24" is enough on this occasion!

He will be welcomed into the Pharang Pracharat Party. He might even be given a ministry so long as he swears allegiance to the PM.

A two headed trough snorter. How good does it get? He will be the envy of cabinet ministers.
