Pattaya: Police sting finds 17 year old sex workers at traditional massage parlor - owner arrested

A sting mounted by anti-human trafficking police and local cops was conducted at a traditional Thai massage shop in Central Pattaya. 

 

The shop was the Thong Daeng massage parlor run by Thong or Daeng Thenthong, 51. 

 

Two secret agents went to the shop following complaints that underage girls were being offered at the establishment for sex.

Officers discovered that hand relief was being offered to customers for 500 baht and full sex for 2,000 baht. 

 

The secret agents photocopied the money to be used beforehand and arranged with the owner to have full sex with two 17 year old girls. After the arrangements were made officers outside were given the signal to raid the premises. 

 

Another seventeen year old was found to be working there too. 

 

All three were taken into the care of a home in Bang Lamung. 

 

Owner Thong or Daeng faces five charges including human trafficking, running a business for sex and offering minors aged between 15 and not yet 18 for sex. 

 

She is now in the custody of the Pattaya police.
