Brunolem
I am not into gaming... at all... but my son is... deeply... In order to be able to communicate with him, I did some research and I discovered that most of the big brands (Huawei, Xiaomi, Asus...) had put on the market gaming phones (black shark, rog etc.) I say "discovered" because these phones are nowhere to be seen in the shops of these brands. When I asked in the Xiaomi (MI) shop, they told me that their gaming phone was only available online, from Lazada and the likes. Why is that? It is not like there is no market for these phones, on the contrary. In China alone, there were 2.5 million preorders for the new Asus rog phone 2! I have read that influential people (not politicians) in Thailand were opposed to gaming, which they consider bad, notably because addictive. Would that be the reason why these gaming phones are kept as much as possible away from the Thai market?
SlyAnimal
I’d say it’s just business.Regardless of what some people might think about gaming, profits are usually their primary motivation.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
