He wants to provide face masks as a form of assistance ?????????????

like offering a bandaid for a broken leg with bones sticking out

why not send a few hundred or thousand soldiers to assist? It’s not as if they are doing anything back home.

Keeping him in power?

He should get over there pronto with his spade and his leaf blower and lend a hand, just like he did in Chiang Mai.

in Brazil they say this is being done by farmers setting fires.

has anyone ever heard such a narrative before?

or that July 2019 was the hottest month recorded since 1880. which isn't a narrative, so it isn't nearly as exciting or fun as 'farmers setting fires'.  but it might be related somehow. even though 2019 was barely above a neutral ENSO condition.

the ENSO.... the thing Mandy Freund and others in May 2019 Nat Geoscience says there has been a doubling of in recent decades versus the last 400 years.

Could be true our family know all loud mouth mid aged ladyboy insists that Germany is just above Thailand on the map, just before China. And he insists that the atlas and the big globe we have at home for the kids are wrong.

He could walk there in a day. Set him a challenge.

Yep and perhaps he could stay there long-term and set himself up as a political consultant and take his sidekick with him.

I thought in Thailand Germans were generally just above ladyboys, or just below them.

Absolutely hilarious.  Does he know how stupid he looks.  He can't even put out the damn fires which burn every year in the north killing his subjects but thinks he can save the Amazon and the world.

Does he understand the Amazon isn't a coffee shop?

Trump not gonna he happy PM is trying to elbow his way on to idiot page. "This is my turf, hombre!"

Meanwhile, Trump will order air drop of lawn rakes to clear away that pesky under brush, like he suggested for California wild fires.

Too rich!!! Just when you think this joker couldn't possibly top himself, out comes this absurd Trumpesque offer to help fight the Amazon fires.  How did you do with CM this year, not to mention all the fires around Bangkok?  (Answer: dismal!)

The hysteria, over the Amazon forest fires, particularly in the West, is out of all proportion to their global significance. Records of forest burning in the region have only been kept for the last thirteen years, and the number of fires this year - some which have occurred naturally and others with a human cause - is actually lower than average.

For "thirteen" read "fifteen".
