The Thai Consular Office in Hong Kong has issued a warning to Thai residents and visitors to Hong Kong against entering or in the vincinty of planned protests in the terrority on Saturday and Sunday (August 14-25).

The consular office also advised Thais, departing from Hong Kong, to reach the airport early for fear that protests might affect their travel.

For Saturday, the office advised Thais to reach the airport before 7 am and they were told to use Airport Express whose first trip of the day started at 5:50 am.

The office said the protests would be held in Kowloon, Central, Admiralty and Wan Chai, so Thais should avoid the areas.

In case of emergency, Thais could seek help from the office at (+852) 6821-1545, (+852) 6821-1546 and (+66) 2572-8442 or visit the office’s website at thaiconsultate.org.hk.

But the Thai kick boxer working for the triads is okay ?

They should also advise their citizens to take a bus, which is cheaper and relatively timely.   Guess the Thai consulate folk don't get out much or only experience Hong Kong from a limo.  You can also take the Disco Bay ferry, and then get a cab at Disco Bay to HKIA.

Chinese patience will be wearing thin, particlulary as this "protest" is being orchestrated by the MI5 and  CIA. Blood will flow before too long.

I think your boy Xi is getting paranoid-and rightfully so.  He’s going to look bad no matter what happens now.  If he wants to make a he rules, he has to pass the he tests, and they have only just begun

You have some inside info. we don't know about? It has to to be the CIA, it couldn't possibly be because Hong Kong people don't want to be thrown in the gulag, or organ harvesting facilities.

There has to be outside influence - Executive Council member IP Kwok him said the students (who attend a very highly ranked university and are highly educated) are not smart enough to plan these things on their own!  And you wonder why they protest?

You are funny.  They both missed Arab Spring entirely.  It is doubtful they were even aware what was happening.  Both agencies you mentioned would not get involved in this, as it will not have further repercussions on the mainland at this time.  This is about the basic law being violated and nothing more.  Xi has others to answer to including the outside world. The extradition bill was a bone headed move, as China was already set to win hugely economically with their belt road initiative.  Now the world looks at them differently and that win now may be in jeopardy.
