A report, from the chief of Kaeng Krachan national park in Phetchaburi province, said that heavy rains over the past several days caused mudslides at several points between kilometer markers 28 and 29 of Bang Krang-Panoen Thung road. Several large uprooted trees blocked the road, making it passable only by motorcycles or on foot. Park officials based at Panoen Thung, a popular tourist attraction where visitors can view a sea of clouds during cold season, have been cut off from the outside world and have been relying on food supplies sent to them by motorcyclists.
