webfact Posted September 4, 2019 Share Posted September 4, 2019 Surat Thani: Woman survives after wrapping her car round a lamppost following pub visit Picture: 77kaoded Thai media published a shocking picture of the aftermath of an accident in Surat Thani just after 2 am this morning. A Nissan March was found wrapped round a lamppost on the Sri Kasem Road. A 36 year old Thai woman from Nakorn Sri Thammarat was found alive but unconscious inside. She was taken to Surat Thani hospital with serious injuries after a ten minute operation to cut her free. Police said she had hit the central reservation curb before being propelled into the lamppost. They suspected she had just left a well known pub about one kilometer away.
