date of 90 day reporting coincides with date of trip to India

Recommended Posts

Hi,

On July 03 I entered Thailand for the first time with a Non-Imm OA Visa.

I made a trip to Cambodia and re-entered Thailand on July 22.

So when I am correct that means my 90 day report date is on October 19.

Since it would be my first 90 day report I want to do this in person at my local IO in SiSaKet.

I understand that I have a reporting window of 14 days before 90 days up until 7 days after that 90 days have expired.

However, and that's the reason of this post, most probably I will have to make a trip to India on October 23.

Since my departure date falls within the 7 days that I can still do the 90 day report without being overdue, I wonder whether it's worth or even necessary to do that 90 day report.

Of course if I do so, when I leave Thailand IO can see from my TM6 entry date that I have been more than 90 days in the country.

So what would be the consequence of skipping that first 90 day report?  Would I be fined on exit or experience trouble on re-entry?

There is no need to report. They aren’t interested in your address for the next 90 day period because you’re leaving.

There are no consequences of not reporting. You cannot be fined because you will not be reporting late.
