webfact
Video: Rental car comes with an added bonus for Chinese tourist - a python! Thai caption: A snake in hiding A Chinese tourist in a rental car in Chiang Mai had the shock of her life when a python appeared on the windshield while she was driving along with her daughter. She regained her composure and stopped to seek the help of the traffic police at the San Dek intersection. However the snake then appeared to have got into the passenger compartment of the car by some route and took up home in the driver's seat. It was quite an operation - shown in a video - for it to be extricated then bagged and returned to nature. Cops at the scene said that the snake had probably been in the engine compartment but when the engine got hot it had migrated to the windshield. Then it sneaked into the car itself. Was she sure it was actually a python and not a windscreen viper?

I thought the Chinese would have been pleased, as they surely would have seen it as a free buffet lunch.
