Perhaps not in reverse, (my assumption) but certainly hit it backwards, must have been some impact.

Yeah, well, she wasn't reversing as in using the reverse gear.

I imagine you are speaking on your own behalf! I've driven here for 30 years without incident!

Im talking about the person in the report who is a foreigner and seems to be ok with driving under the influence of medicine.

Driving after taking any medication which can impair your driving skills should be avoided. Meds usually have advice on the pack and you should be aware of the effects the med can have.

Do you not read carefully the tiny writing, or the paper inside before driving?    LOL

Yes and it show that foreigners are as bad as Thais plenty of Thais that have not made any accidents too just like you. You take it too personal. Its not as if foreigners are superior to Thais while many seem to think so.

Must have been some slam into the tree, as it is reported that she was in reverse. Under influence of medication, looks questionable from an insurance claim. Thankfully only minor injuries.

Actually not in reverse... she spun off the road and hit the tree traveling backwards... big difference.

But why? It seems just a meaningless comment..Whats your point

Point being if a Thai had done this 10 pages of Thaibashing (minimum) as foreigners think they are so much better and their ... does not stink. But now its a foreigner and barely 2 pages with almost no negative comments. Just goes to show.

Of course, her being a farang means it was an accident, being under the influence conveniently ignored.

Had she been Thai it would have been stupid and they're all bad drivers who shouldn't be on the road anyway.

The article said she MAY have been on medication, and it does not say what kind, and it also says she was fleeing a domestic abuse situation.  So she may have just been beaten up.  She may be taking blood pressure meds, or any number of things, and certainly does not look like she planned on driving.  That is quite different than your typical drunk who goes out and plans to drink and plans to drive home!

Maybe getting beat up and being on medication in the first place, impaired her judgement which made her decide to drive?  Who knows but hardly the same as ALL Thais and their <deleted> driving, in my opinion.

It does not see she was fleeing a domestic abuse situation, it says she drove after a domestic dispute. You're making it up to suit your narrative.

Yes, it does say she may have been on medication. I can't recall any article where that was mentioned, do you have any reason to doubt? And then you start assuming things.

You're apologizing for something that shouldn't be apologized for, looking at your last line the reason is clear.
