KRABI (NNT) - Krabi province is hosting an Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) meeting for which officials were securing areas to ensure safety.

Krabi Provincial Governor Pol Lt Col M.L. Kitibodhi Prawit visited security officials at road checkpoints set up by the police station in Sai Khao subdistrict of Khlong Thom district of Krabi. The police were screening road users and searching for any suspicious persons to prevent them from entering the downtown area where the IMT-GT meeting is being prepared.

The IMT-GT is scheduled from September 10 to September 14, 2019 at Sofitel Phokeethra Golf and Spa Resort in Baan Khlong Muang subdistrict.

The provincial governor also visited a multi-purpose hall, in Khao Din subdistrict of Khao Phanom district, where administrative officials and local leaders were preparing security measures. The officials and local leaders were taking turns to secure all nine villages and conduct patrols to prevent any untoward incident.

Who are these 'suspicious persons' likely to be and from which group?

Ah, we can't answer that question - 'national security' you know. The phrase always used to avoid awkward questions.

How will they spot them? Walking with an offensive wife? Being in possession of long curly hair?

It can't be Thais of course, because as has been ridiculed stated before: 'Thais would never do something like this.'

Must be those pesky foreigner types then. Double down on TM30, as all terrorists will obviously be conscientiously filling them in.
