Send them some aid....no need to have the whole country over leeching off the system.

Y'all got nothing to leach... most expensive health care and education costs combined with worst shelter and nutrition safety nets. Only private churches and charities would give any aid, so no skin off taxpayers noses.

Since when is Trump the King of the Bahamas? They already have a monarch- her name is Elizabeth II. This is the UK's responsibility to deal with. Or any of the other 50 some members of the Commonwealth. US is full and in the midst of a migration crisis. Last thing we need is Bahamians adding to our problems.

Maybe your country should make some effort to avoid that you have so many drug addicts. Then there wouldn't be such demand and the prices would drop and make it less attractive for other countries to supply.

I think that Donrald Twerp does not realize that the Bahamas is not some poverty striken country but is actually quite wealthy and well-run and does not have the sort of gang culture and violence that is the root of emigration in certain poor countries. Hence virtually no migrants to the USA.

Both UK and USA are willing to abuse their Common wealth countries.

But when it comes to the times to pay back, the relationship is "complicated"

Shame on you.

What an ignorant and stupid man who has only to look within his own country (USA) for "very bad drug dealers" - the mafia for a start!!

What about looking within the ranks of the CIA, for major drug dealers? What about the infamous Air America? George Bush Sr. was the original Pablo Escobar, when he was running the CIA. The hands of the US government are stained with dirt and blood going back centuries.

Sorry to give you a history lesson, but the Bahamas have been an independent nation since 1973, therefore although aligned as a Commonwealth country ( same as Australia, NZ Canada and some others) the UK has no responsibility to them .

I am sure that the UK along with many other nations, will send support and aid once rescue workers can get to assess needs.

So for Trump to offer assistance is in line with humanitarian ethos

Irrelevant. That's the reason he cited for refusing them. Why can't he just be honest about his reasons?

Would be nice if once he based his thought bubbles on FACT, not his false assumptions about others.

why don't you volunteer and see if you can help identify who's who.

Must be quite easy.

They already must provide a criminal history check. So thats that problem solved.

But you prefer to let kids waste away with nothing because of unsubstantiated fear caused by Trump saying something with no evidence.
