poohy
Every town has checking centre they "check" the bike and do paperwork cost 550THB Took my 6 year old motorcycle in Monday i Collect new paperwork today Re checking i can safely say that never happened just paid the cash
eisfeld
Yup 5 years for bikes. Any of the PoRoBor shops can do it. Look for the blue and yellow gear logo. A bit cheaper if you do it at the DLT I think. DLT performs checks, the small shops maybe not.

I know the one in Rawai does check exhaust gas and other things. Also paperwork checked. Car check was 200 Baht, motorbike including insurance, registration and check 660 Baht. And yes, motorbike 5 years, car 7 years.

Some perform no checks whatsoever, some perform all checks dutifully and some perform checks but completely ignore results. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The place where I go does some proper (but still basic) checks. Lights, breaks, exhaust and noise.
