webfact Posted September 11, 2019 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Govt arranges volunteer activity to clean Chao Phraya river banks FILE photo BANGKOK (NNT) - The government is organizing a volunteer activity to clean the banks of the Chao Phraya river in preparation for the Royal Barge Procession. Mr Thewan Liptaphanlop, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, said he had inspected preparations for the Royal Barge Procession and there will be a volunteer activity to clean the banks of the Chao Phraya river on October 2, 2019. The activity will be organized by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Harbor Department and agencies along the banks of the Chao Phraya River to improve the landscape along the route of the Royal Barge Procession.
