Pattaya: Police hotfoot it back to base as huge murder reenactment turns nasty

Some 200 police officers led by the Chonburi provincial police chief and the acting head of the Pattaya police took the suspect in the shooting murder of an influential and well connected local man on a reenactment to the scene of the crime yesterday.

PHUKET: Come next Friday (Sept 20) police across Phuket will cease the decades-old practice of seizing driver’s licences of motorists caught breaking traffic laws in a policy shift ahead of rolling out major amendments made to the Land Traffic Act, which had been in effect unchanged since 1979.

Daily News reported that the Lat Prao police went to a branch of 7-Eleven in the Happy Land area of Bangkapi in Bangkok earlier this morning after a man armed with a penknife tried to steal money from the till.
