Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha had his first close encounter in over five years with Mr. Suthep Thaugsuban, the former leader of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee, during his visit to Koh Samui in Thailand’s southern province of Surat Thani on Friday.

The PDRC organized the mass protests against the government of former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra in 2013-14, which culminated in a coup on May 22nd 2014, led by General Prayut.

Accompanied by Interior Minister Anupong Paochinda, the Prime Minister presided over the opening of the Samui Festival and then visited the Pawana Pothikyun Vocational College, where Mr. Suthep is chairman of the College Board.

from the article:

on arrival at the college, the Prime Minister said “Hello” to Mr. Suthep and the other former PDRC core members and asked whether all of them teach at the college.

not in the article:

Mr. Suthep then replied that the college still had an opening to teach Oath Taking 101...

they were in conspiracy for bangkok shutdown and are in close political relation to this day.

Suthep, together with Prawit, are godfathers of southern mafias. Suthep's armed goons came to bangkok from those gangs.

Samui, Phuket and Krabi are rich from tourism and mafias are scamming them big time.

How embarrassing for Prayuth and Anupong.

Hope everyone washed their hands afterwards and burnt their shoes and clothes.

All those people who go on about Redshirts paying for votes (a practice that goes all the way down to village head men) This low life was paying people from South 500baht a day to go upto Bangkok. The whole thing disgusts me especial expats who praise these criminals who stole a country while enjoying democracy at home.
