Car waxing service Pattaya area

Recommended Posts

Hi. Could anyone recommend a car waxing service in the Pattaya/Jomtien area. Not glass coating, just ordinary waxing with preferably a good quality hard wax. I went yesterday to the accessory stall outside Tesco Lotus Suk/Thepprasit and was quoted 2,900 baht.

Wax costs 300 thb at any honest place and does not need to cost anything more.

2900 is ridiculous, I would have laughed at their face.

I agree with you where I have my wax done they charge 500bht 200 for full valet. Engine under inside and out. 300 for the wax. Pattaya is a different kettle of fish they charge what people will pay.

All waxes are not equal, you get what you pay for...

If one goes to a waxing place that "costs", they are probably a valet shop, they do the works not just put polish on...Place near me charges 1500bht. If I go to my car wash and ask them to do a polish after, it costs a total of I think 350bht, using my polish, none of that silicone stuff they use..

Every time I have been in Patts it has cost me 240bht just for a valet and they don't do under the car or the engine. But I don't go that often thank Buddha, so there might be cheaper places. Last time 2 years ago I had a valet it was that price then so could have gone up.

The best place i have for clean the car is in the back side of the Caltex gasoline station

on the left side of Sukkumvit road (When you come from Sattahip and go to Pattaya)

after the Underwaterworld, just beside the Muang Ake Central pet hospital.

Clean outside the car 100 bahts

inside and outside 200

wax available also but i do not use it so i do not know the price.

Most of the bathbus come here to clean their songtheaw,  it's probably one of

place with the best value for money.

I have seen most of the thais give a 20 baht tip, so i give the same on top of the payment

and everybody seems to be happy.
