Time will tell. Currently your position seems to be to block the UK leaving the EU and simultaneously complain that Johnson hasn't yet spent the money he said could be spent once we've left.

Remainer logic ????.

Well at least there's some logic with remainers. No logic at all in your post.

No. I’m on the record saying brexit will suit me just fine as an Australian. You guys are bending over backwards to offer us free movement of peoples (which Boris and now the trade minister have advocated) so maybe I’ll be able to spend more of my time there when I’m getting my british pension...

As for brexit, yep it is stupid, but I’ll be happy to benefit from it if you are dumb enough to go through with it.

Yep, freedom for Brits to live and work in Australia. Yet another benefit of Brexit. Just gets better and better, I love a bit of Aus, lived there from 98-99.

If you love the EU so much, maybe you can campaign for Australia to join? I doubt your government is dumb enough though, even if you are.

They're already in the Eurovision song contest. Only a matter of time....

Let me make it simpler for you, as I know you struggle with these things.

It's like taking away someone's car keys and then complaining they didn't honour their promise to pick you up in that very same car.

No, I’m all for closer ties with our neighbours in the Asia pacific. No use in having economic integration with a country literally on the other side of the world. But you are giving up seamless access to your neighborhood for precisely that.

The Australian PM is already on the record for ruling out giving Brits unfettered access to Australia. Being over run by Chavs and moaners is a surefire vote killer.

We however will ask for good access to the UK labour market, and in your desperation to sign ANY trade deal to show the masses Brexit was worth it, you’ll likely give it to us.

So where's the analogy there?

555.

Let me dumb it down even further. It's like Morecambe fans tying Danny Carlton's legs together and then complaining he didn't lash it into the top corner in the 82nd minute.

You can't block Brexit AND complain he didn't give 350 million to the NHS. One or the other Bro.

PS you have my deepest sympathies for being cursed with living in and supporting Morecambe Town, if I lived there I'd probably want freedom of movement as well. ????

There never was 350m to give to the NHS. That figure has been debunked many times.

AFAIAA there is no such club as "Morecambe Town".

Troll away.

What has that go to do with the price of fish? He’s clearly british, making the point that the NHS and his daughters hospital is woefully underfunded. If he’s got the PM in front of him, he’s entirely within his rights to let loose as a citizen.

Again, everyone is banging on about Egypt for some reason, but no one is challenging his point.

They prefer to shoot the messenger and hope the message gets forgotten.

It was stated on this forum  that he was an Egyptian  think you,d be better off posting a link proving otherwise rather than harping on about the price of kippers.

It was alleged by a poster.

Not seen any proof to back this up yet.

Haven,t seen any proof to suggest otherwise.

There is no proof he is anything but British.

As he is in London, with an accent and grasp of the language that is clearly British, the assumption has to be he is British.

Any claims based on his name or ethnicity are based in something other than evidence.

Never been debunked. May has pledged 384 million. If it doesn't happen after a clean Brexit you can complain, but not yet.

Yeah Morecambe dropped the word town to try and make them look like a proper club. Didn't work, still a small club whose finest moment was beating the mighty Exeter more than a decade ago. Still celebrated by the small town locals like yourself.

I can't understand what Gove says when he talks. I do wish he'd take that plum out of his mouth before speaking.

I don't like Gove but he did speak clearly and well when he was ripping Corbyn to shreds. Spat the pip at him too.

A lot of angry blokes here easily triggered by a brown bloke with a funny name daring to have an opinion.

Nothing to with his colour and nothing to do with his name and nothing to do with his opinion .

It is the way that he behaved that is the issue .

And yourself trying to make it a race issue , isnt helping anyone

Well, next time a member of the public disagrees with Boris - and for arguments sake they are called John Smith from Bournemouth-  shall we see if our erstwhile TV posters bring up the country of Mr Smith’s  father or mother or tell them ‘why don’t you just go back there if you don’t like it’ - cause that’s it essentially what has happened here.

And if you can’t see how that is a double standard that derives purely from that persons skin colour then you aren’t very bright...

No idea what nationality or nationalities he holds. But that's somewhat irrelevant.

His posh accent and grasp of English probably reflects his Oxford education. He apparently worked for Labor for a couple of years as a researcher; and describes himself as being opposed to Brexit and wanting a socialist Europe.

Hardly a politically unbiased person. He claims he's a Labor activist.

So sad that he used his daughter's illness to try and make political points.

I often use my personal circumstances as the background to political points. I like to think that my understanding of politics is related to my experience of Life.

That's not what your mates are bringing up in the posts that have survived- and quite a few which have been deleted. Plenty of waffle from your chums where he is allegedly from and where he should go back to.

You reckon we would have seen these types of comments if his name was John Smith? Gimme a break. I'm not the one who is making it an 'issue', just calling out your fellow travellers on it.

And not one of them has yet challenged his actual point....

This character is an Egyptian photographer, living in London.  Typical of the non UK citizens who subscribe to forums venting their angst at being denied a right to live and abuse a society for which they have neither contributed or respect.

For an ‘Egyptian’ he has a remarkably posh british accent or is a person never british unless they can trace their heritage back to the battle of Hastings?

Oh, and tell me, what is actually incorrect about what he said? Or was that he was simply too brown for your liking??

He is a muslim activist.  Nuff said.

Why no capital? As a Christian I would feel that you did not feel that his religion was important. As an activist, I am not sure that my religion is relevant.  On what basis did you deduce he was

- Muslim?

- an activist? And in what cause?

The posts to date have suggested he was an English Labour activist, and father to a sick child, but maybe you know him better than they.

I never said he wasn’t biased or even mentioned his political views.

I was merely countering the assumptions being made by some posters based on this man’s name and ethnicity.

So sad that Johnson used everybody's sick kid on the ward to make a political point and for a photo opportunity.
