Immigration chief announces arrest of Myanmar nationals running "Krathom Buffet"

Thailand's immigration chief Lt-Gen Sompong "Big Oud" Chingduang appeared at a press conference to announce the arrest of two Myanmar nationals who were running a Krathom shop in Samut Sakhon.

 

The Class 5 drug is prohibited in Thailand and is usually used to make tea. 

 

The 21 and 29 year old Myanmar nationals were supplying compatriots in the construction business. 

 

They admitted mixing the brewed beverage with Coke and cough mixture and selling it for 100 baht a big bottle and 50 baht small. 

 

They even had an arrangement for a "buffet" style of service at 50 baht a head, reported Naew Na. 

 

Lt-Gen Sompong stood with microphone next to a large vinyl board that referred to the migrants as "Trouble makers from Phama (Myanmar)".

Revenge for all the times the Burmese smashed the Thai's in past battles,i think it took about 500 British troops to defeat the Burmese,probably 50 could have defeated the Thai's.

Kratom =no drug only 9 countries in world not selling it.

Which Thailand is one of them. Its even grown and sold in Indonesia (muslim country !)

Thai government prohibited it as it costed them money.
