WiFi connection in the 5 GHz frequency range has nothing to do with 5G (5th generation mobile network). 5G comes in a variety of frequencies. Currently they seem to start with 3.4/3.8 GHz. But they have plans for up to 33 GHz ("microwave"). The frequencies tell a story: almost impossible to cover a big country with 5G. Tremendous multi billion investment. It's NOT the solution to fill coverage gaps (like some simpletons in Germany make you believe).

Will I be able to use it still in 15 years time when 5G arrives in Prasat? and will I still be able to order books from Amazon? Not with the internet switched off you won't ???? It will be no different than how it is now using a 3G phone on the current 4G networks. You just don't get to take advantage of the higher speeds. And the higher 5G frequencies will be even worse at penetrating indoors than 4G frequencies are. So it's not some revolutionary thing and 4G speeds are quite adequate for most things.
