Can anyone give info on where to buy vitamins/minerals in the Bangkok area?

I'm looking for potassium ,zinc, magnesium, cod liver oil multivitamins ect.

I got these from Holland and barrett back home, but can't seem to find similar store here.

Try Lazada first.

Or you could take a look at eating a healthy diet.

Iherb online shopping is in the US but is often the cheapest option even with shipping.

I found that vitamins here are expensive and buy mine when in Oz every year, that said, I have 5 months supply of Centrum for Men 50+ that I bought back from Oz last October and have stopped using them until I see my specialist next month to ask him a question before I start reusing them and or stock up again.

They expire in April next year, each container has 60 tablets, they retail here for around 750 baht each, also I have 1 x Healthy Care 500 chewable vitamin C 500mg tablets which expire in July 2021 and Healthy Care 400 Odourless fish oil 2000mg capsules that you can have, all for well below cost plus delivery, if your interested PM me and we can discuss.

https://www.blackmores.com.au/ Extremely good service with fast tracked delivery to your door in Thailand. I usually receive the parcel within a week. Many many products. At least 30% discount coupons given for further orders.

If you were to ask politely I might even divulge the highly secret addresses of these food stores.

That would be great, assuming these organic stores are indeed selling "organic" products it will be well worth the daily 1,200 kilometre round trip so I can eat healthily like you 🙂

I do have a 1 acre garden, yes - your observation that it requires "labour" is quite correct, unfortunately due to the climate here it is not possible to have year round fresh vegetables, in the mean times I will supplement with "quality" supplements while not consuming "processed" products, I like the term "industrial filth" very accurate, especially the oils they use here for frying!

Good health!

Lazada to your door in 2 days.

They have a wide selection and prices seem to be less inflated than the stuff at Boots or Watsons ("Blackmore").

There is a multivitamin sold at basically all pharmacies called VITOP/WITOP which has a meaningful dosage.

You are free to buy stuff like imported "Berocca", few substances, silly overdosed, silly overpriced.

I could be wrong but private import of any supplements is not allowed or would require a permit.

You always risk to loose a shipment.

Hello cooked,

I eat as healthy as possible, try to stay away from processed foods ect.

even eating the best healthy foods can still leave you deficient in min/vit, unless you can eat like a elephant

and another poster pointed out that you don't really know what your eating ( could only be labelled as organic)

thanks folks for the info/links, I'll check them out.

I recommend reading the information published by well known medical institutions about dietary supplements.  Word of mouth and advertising are poor sources of facts.
