GeKoSc
My next yearly retirement visa extension date will be on January 20, 2020. I would like to travel to Central Asia for about 6 months soon and bring the visa extension back to November 2019. Would this be possible?
Banana7
My understanding is a maximum 30 to 45 days prior to expiry can the visa be extended. Each immigration office a little different on the timing. Up to 45 days prior, if you have a good reason and show evidence. 30 days prior is standard operating procedure.
berybert
Why don't you wait until you do your extension before heading off to central Asia for 6 months ? Or why even bother to renew if you are away for 6 months ? Go for it. Enjoy.
