PHUKET: A fire at a kitchen equipment storage building at Rawai Temple on Saturday (Sept 21) caused an estimated B200,000 in damage. At this stage, police believe the fire was started by sparks from a circuit breaker in the building.

PHUKET: A woman has been fined B400 for hitting a street lamp on a traffic island at the intersection of the new underpass at the turn-off to the airport on Saturday (Sept 21), but has yet to be informed how much she will need to pay for damages for the broken streetlight, which landed on the roof of her car.

The RTN delays frigate from South Korea in favor of Chinese landing ship

PHUKET: Police have announced the arrests of seven drug suspects, including a 17-year-old found in possession of 10,000 ya bah (methamphetamine) pills, in raids over four days last week. A total of 21.79g of ya ice (crystal meth), 6kg of kratom leaves and a 9mm handgun were also seized in the raids.
