JoePai
Is this the airline who tries to land their planes with lowering the wheels......... ????
Mel Bourne
With the world economy sliding into recession and conflict in Iran/SA imminent expect to see significant reductions in global services if it hasn't started already. The astonishing bubble in world aviation over the past 10 years is over. Don't train to be a pilot. High demand for pilots is only matched by low demand at the end of the cycle. steelepulse
I took Vietjet to HCM a couple years ago and the flight was cheap as chips. Not sure if there is enough demand for two airlines flying this route, but it's good for consumers.

Without lowering the wheels, VN-A870, Melbourne, 19 Sep 2019. Narrowly escaped a catastropic crash landing. Just search the news (archives) for Vietnam Airlines to find more stunts (landing on runway under construction etc.).
lonewolf99
Vietnamese are clever. The tourists that turn up in LoS to find it is not as per the glossy brochure now have a "get out of Dodge" cheap route......
DrTuner
Expect the TAT tourist numbers to increase. Everyone flying to Phuket from outside Thailand, clearing immigration and checking in right away to Viet airlines is one.
steelepulse
At 13K baht compared to less than 5K baht R/T HKT to SGN on Vietjet, I can't see these planes being very full.
