Indeed. But you surely aren't trying to peddle the EU leaders, bureaucrats and elected, as all honest, never lie, ethical, goody-goodies are you??

They lie, particularly about their intentions just as all politicians do. Look at the caliber of the 4 EU leaders selected to replace Juncker et al. Two have criminal convictions, one cheated on her PhD and her defense department is under investigation for dodgy deals and the fourth is a failed PM. And they never even followed their own selection process!

No I’m not.

But......But....But.... whatabout?!

The warning comes after the UK floated "concepts" to tackle the issue in meetings last week – which EU officials privately warned would not be enough to prevent checks and controls from reemerging between the Republic and Northern Ireland.

British officials were hoping for a breakthrough and change in EU thinking when Boris Johnson meets with EU council president Donald Tusk on the sidelines of the UN general assembly in New York on Monday evening – an increasingly remote prospect after Mr Barnier's intervention.

Ideal CV, then? No wonder they were chosen - probably as fall guys when Brexit goes t*ts-up. But, it's not about the EU politicians, it's about the Uk's self-seeking and untrustworthy ones.

The only thing you need to know about Johnson is he is a serial liar, once you know and understand that fact everything he says makes sense as a lie.

Johnson has lied about the chances of getting a Brexit deal and now it is clear he can't get a deal he's lied about these 'talks in NY' and as the day that lie is exposed gets nearer he is now trying to peddle reduced expectations for a deal he knew was never going to be made.

The only 'porkie' of current interest is the one stating there won't be a pact with the Brexit party.

He still hasn’t put forward a formal proposal in Brussels, so why would New York change anything?

Why would he make a formal proposal? So the EU can leak it to the press and then dismiss it out of hand again?

I think we've seen enough of that in the last 3 years, let the EU come up with something for once. At least they are finally starting to slowly wake up to the fact this affects both sides.

I had written it before. UVL has not cheated in her PhD. She has made mistakes in the citation guidelines. But not deliberately cheated. I have read the report of the Science Commission of the University. Your statement is inaccurate in this regard, or contentwise wrong.
