Are all the following things true and are there any others? 1. Thai women and their family only look at the foreign bf/husband for money to support their family. 2. Giks are part of Thai culture for both men and women. 3. It's part of Thai culture for Thai men to drink often, gamble, cheat, lie. 4. Single mums - Thai guys will not accept another man's kids therefore won't accept single mums. 5. Divorcees - Thai guys will not accept a Thai woman who's been divorced. 6. I have a two Thai male pals who are both happily married to divorced women and support their children from their previous marriages, both financially and emotionally as any man should. Both ladies in question are well educated, employed, and have looks most here would give their right arm for. I'd say your post is a generalisation of some common myths spread by internet and bar stool 'experts'. Mate, all of those points have been discussed ad nauseum on this board. Books have been written, theses, conferences, studies ... why, even Queen wanted to write a rock opera about Thailand.
