geovalin Posted September 24, 2019 Share Posted September 24, 2019 BEIJING, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Nearly 1,000 suspects have been apprehended by Chinese and Cambodian police in a joint crackdown on online gambling, telecommunication fraud and gang crimes this year, said the Ministry of Public Security. By Aug. 30, 335 Chinese suspected of online gambling crime and 155 suspects of telecommunication fraud have been captured in Cambodia, said the ministry. A large number of dens of online gambling and telecommunication fraud crimes have been busted, it said.
