webfact Posted September 26, 2019 Share Posted September 26, 2019 Fourteen employees injured after speedboat crash off Ranong coast Picture: Daily News Daily News reported that 14 employees of Grand Andaman had been taken to hospital last night after a speedboat collision at sea. The speedboat hit another unspecified vessel on its way back to the mainland from an island. The media reported district chief Bunchai Somjai and Pak Nam police on the scene at the Grand Andaman pier as rescue services ferried the injured to hospital in Ranong on southern Thailand's Andaman coast. They said that there were 38 employees on the boat when it was involved in the collision. The Grand Andaman is a hotel and casino that has exclusive use of an island, notes Thaivisa.
