webfact Posted September 26, 2019 Share Posted September 26, 2019 Nigerian romance scammer arrested in Krabi Picture: Naew Na Immigration police in Krabi have announced the arrest of a 23 year old Nigerian and a 20 year old Thai woman following a visit to a house in the Neua Klong area on Tuesday evening. The Nigerian was found to have entered Thailand illegally and was also mixed up in a romance scam. The Thai woman was charged with harboring and protecting a foreigner from arrest. Taken into evidence was a host of electronic equipment and other valuables. Local immigration said it was all part of orders from immigration chief Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang to root out foreigners acting illegally in Thailand.
