geovalin Posted September 27, 2019 Share Posted September 27, 2019 Once a thriving haven for gambling activities, Cambodia’s casino industry is seeing signs of shrinkage due to various changes, some of which include the government’s move to weigh in on gambling activities. This past Tuesday, the media in Cambodia reported that activists in the Preah Sihanouk area have been pushing the government to take down dormant Ding Hotel and Casino located on Koh Rong Island. The Casino, considered a notorious establishment, was last March due to its tendency to pump raw wastewater into the sea. However, the Casino’s management, a Chinese individual, who has run the business without proper licensing for close to one year now, ignored their pleas. cmrichsw Posted September 27, 2019 Share Posted September 27, 2019 Was there a few months ago, similar to Vegas casinos but not geared for the Vegas style gambler. Lots of Chinese games I did not understand or care to learn. I played a while and lost $20 so I left probably never to return again. Staff very watchful to observe what kind of gambler you are.
