BananaBandit Posted September 29, 2019 Share Posted September 29, 2019 When recently reading a document on SEA languages, I was surprised to find that many words in Khmer - when transliterated - look very similar to the transliterated Thai word. So how similar are these languages ? On a slightly separate note, I hear that the Khmer language has only one tone, but a very wacky alphabet... In terms of difficulty, how does it stack up to Thai?
