kiever
I need ENT specialist in phangan. My ear is blocked because of ear wax and sea water. I called phangan western hospital and Bangkok phangan hospital but they don’t have ENT physician. They both told me they have eye doctor and general practitioner that they can clean my ear. If I insist on ENT, I need to go Samui , they told. I look for recommendations for cleaning my ear by a specialist in phangan. Do you have any experience on phangan ? Which clinic or hospital I need to go ? Walk in clinics can do it ?
Sheryl
Moved to health forum. You won't find an ENT on Phangnan. You might however find this product in a pharmacy and if so could try it first: You can also buy that online form Laqzada and have it delivered to you. Soemtimes hydrogen peroxide works as well but try to get thsi first. Otherwise your choices are to go to Bangkok Hospitakl Samui (expensive), maybe Koh Samui Hospital (main government hospital in Ban Dong - not sure they will have an ENT) or to Surathani, either government hospital there or Thaksin hospital. kiever
I went a local clinic and doctor sold me this for 200 baht and after 5 hours I will go back to doc to clean my ear for 400 baht. This is very affordable I think
NancyL
A general practice doctor can do this. In the U.S. the nurse in my regular doctor's office was the one who did the ear cleanings.
Sheryl
What GPs can do in Western countries and what they are skilled at here is not always the same thing. Hopefully the doc OP saw knows what he is doing. The risk is of pushing the wax deeper in.
