webfact Posted October 7, 2019 Share Posted October 7, 2019 Finn "jumps" to his death at Bangkok airport Thai Rath reported that a Finnish man fell to his death after being seen chatting on the phone in front of ticket booths on the sixth floor of Suvrnabhumi Airport on Friday evening. The man fell to the fourth floor where he was given first aid in front of the THAI ticket office in Zone F. He had multiple fractures including two broken arms but was still conscious. He died later in Samitivej Srinakharin Hospital. The man had entered Thailand on September 8th and extended his visa until November 6th. Witnesses said that they saw him chatting on the phone in front of the Thai Smile booth before he jumped. The Finland embassy has been informed and they are contacting relatives. The Thai tourist police are investigating the incident.
