Trump is acting like a very guilty man would act, under the circumstances. However, most men would retain their sanity. He is completely unhinged. I believe he has completely stopped the minimal amount of governing he was doing. He is obsessed with covering up his many crimes.

Biden is correct in stating that

Trump has indicted himself. He is bad news. He is not in a good place. He cannot govern. He is MIA.

He has committed 0 crimes . This is a fallacy!

If the article turns out to be true, so what? He worked with Biden in a governmental capacity. Not a political one.

During a campaign stop in New Hampshire, the Democratic front-runner to face Trump in the November 2020 presidential election, took the gloves off.

LOL. His only chance of winning the big chair is to get rid of Trump and he knows it, IMO, so of course he's calling for impeachment, though he'd have as little chance against Pence as against Trump, IMO.

Most Democrats want to impeach Trump, even if that means weakening their party's chances of winning back the White House in 2020, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

If they impeach without conviction, IMO it means a sure loss to Trump, and I'm not the only one thinks that by far.

Interesting that AG Barr met with Rupert Murdoch Wednesday evening, as the Ukrainian bagmen, Parnas and Fruman, were arrested at IAD trying to do a runner.

Doubt anyone is going to be talking about the Bidens anymore.

The swamp is about to envelope the president and his gang that couldn't shoot straight (props to Jimmy Breslin).

That photo of Don Jr. yucking it up with the bag-men is not a good lock.

I wouldn't be making any predictions about 45's imminent downfall. We can hope but he's now the most powerful man in the world that has adopted the most imperial presidential stance in American history who faces likely prison if he loses in 2020. He has shown he has zero regard for morality, the rule of law, or the constitution. Strong men leaders like that tend not to go down quickly or easily. Brace yourselves for him to stick around.

The Clintons were smart, to the point of being crafty. Trump is a thin skinned, shallow idiot who doesn't listen to his advisers.

Yeah sure but it's a long road between that and actually getting rid of him. Don't trivialize this. Just look at world history.

Oh he will stick around to the bitter end , not caring how much more damage he does.

However his chances of getting another term look slimmer by the day .

Im sure his base will largely stick by him but some old style republicans will turn their backs and he is going to lose the bulk of the swing and independent voters.

In addition democrats will be energised like never before , they will turn out in great numbers , and the Russians wont get away with the same tricks as before.

In short I now firmly believe that Trump will get soundly beaten , and once out of office his troubles will really begin.

"The Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday issued a report urging President Trump to warn the public about efforts by foreign governments to interfere in U.S. elections and take steps to prevent hostile nations from using social media to meddle in the 2020 vote.

The recommendations were part of an 85-page report that outlined Russia's large-scale effort to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. The group of bipartisan senators described the social media activities of the Kremlin-backed Internet Research Agency (IRA) as part of a "broader, sophisticated, and ongoing information warfare campaign designed to sow discord in American politics and society."

if the election is close and he loses and/or if it is obviously tampered with (it obviously will be because he's not fighting that but rather encouraging it which of course he will spin regardless to be a tampering against him) chances are he will contest the results as rigged. I feel the best hope is to beat him in a massive landslide. Anything at all close, and it's very dangerous. Keep in mind this is a man that did indeed win in 2016 with a minority of the votes but still contested that strongly saying he won the popular vote too! So no normal restraints apply to him.

Poor Joe Biden.... he's being shown the door and isn't bright enough to see it. As for the "whistleblower"- yet another scam by desperate Democrats who refuse to accept the result of the 2016 election. Most of us who can think saw this from day one. Now the Democrats want secret witnesses, secret hearings. They probably have plans for reeducation camps on their desks.

You appear to not be an American, so let me help. In the US, the national popular vote is irrelevant. We have a state-by-state electoral college system that determines who wins the national popular vote. For some reason, media outlets in the US keep babbling about national polls during presidential election campaigns. The goal is likely to help corral the less-informed Americans into voting the way media elites see fit.

You lost me at telling me I'm not American.  Actually the origin of the electoral college was SLAVERY. But I won't personally insult you about your lack of knowledge about that.

Most of that is just silly but it is correct that not many democrats are excited about nominating Joe Biden. His selling point was that he would be strongest choice to beat 45 and that perceived benefit has mostly faded. But he's still got a very good chance based on name recognition, having been VP for eight years, added to those that still think he's the safest choice. Usually for democrats, the safest choice is a losing choice.

I have to agree with you on that. Since this is an anonymous board, I will concede I don't want Biden as the nominee. I think he's the only one that can go toe-to-toe playing Trump's game. But yes, enthusiasm is clearly a factor. Joe just can't pull in the crowds. I suspect he's having trouble fundraising as well. Warren sure is pulling in the crowds. But honestly, I just don't see a snooty northeast liberal winning enough states. I also think she looks silly when she tries to out-Trump Trump.

Well, the way things are going 45 will definitely be impeached in the house which may mean a somewhat proper trial in the senate. As part of that trial Biden and his son as well will be called to testify by the republicans. Fair or relevant to convicting 45 or not, they will do that. I doubt that will be good PR for Biden. Most likely no laws were broken with his job there, but it certainly does look swampy.

As far as Warren, yeah I agree she may be too leftist to beat even an extreme choice like 45 but there hasn't even been one primary yet, so don't jump the gun. Many democrats including me are looking for a more center left candidate without the "socialist" baggage like Booker or Klobuchar.

My prediction- either the Dems try to impeach him and it dies in the senate, so Trump wins, or they don't try to impeach and they come off looking like losers so Trump wins.

Their only chance, IMO, is that some court case will actually have some legs and he'll be disqualified from standing again. That means, IMO, that Pence wins, which will in turn make the Dems wish they'd never tried to get Trump out, as IMO Pence will really stick it to them. Unintended consequences and all that. I have to wonder if the Dems actually have a plan for what to do if Trump is taken out of contention, or if it'll be like Iraq all over again? I hope they know that if they do remove Trump through some legal gambit, there are a lot of middle America citizens that will not take kindly to having him removed by Coast lefties, and might be moved to protest or something.

Of course the Dems could actually come up with a candidate that middle America would vote for, but they ain't there yet. Biden 555555555555, Warren 5555555555555555555.
