Rihanna brands Trump the ‘most mentally ill person in America’

Rihanna has launched a scathing attack on Donald Trump’s refusal to address gun violence, suggesting he may be “the most mentally ill human being in America”.

The 31-year-old singer, whose ninth album is said to be close to completion, seized on comments the president made in the aftermath of mass shootings this summer in El Paso, Texas, and in Dayton, Ohio.

In both cases, a young white man, armed with a semi-automatic weapon, attacked innocent people in a two-day period of killings that left more than 30 dead, and triggered another conversation about gun violence.

Mr Trump described the shootings as a tragedy, but also said: “Mental illness and hatred pulls the trigger — not the gun.” In the case of the El Paso shooter, at least, it is alleged racist bigotry that inspired the attack.

While she ignores the real mass shootings by multiple shooters on a daily basis in the urban wasteland...  the publicized shootings well noted by her and the media area a tiny percentage of the carnage but that fits the media, left wing, Trump hating narrative.

Are you writing about the police killing unarmed citizens in the U.S.A? I'm guessing that you are not.

Your guess is correct.   Police kill very very few and almost all are justified.

The media and left ignore the slaughter in the streets (hint, they are not done by NRA members, Trump supporters or white supremos) and focus on the too frequent deranged white mass shooters that constitute a tiny number of gun homicides.

the majority of shooting (murder not suicide) in america are done with hand guns by single shooters. but hey let's not reality get in the way right ? ????

total number of shootings by police in america in 2019 is just shy of 700.

in 2017 the majority of gun death in america was suicide. taken from pew research.....

Though they tend to get less attention than gun-related murders, suicides have long accounted for the majority of U.S. gun deaths. In 2017, six-in-ten gun-related deaths in the U.S. were suicides (23,854), while 37% were murders (14,542), according to the CDC. The remainder were unintentional (486), involved law enforcement (553) or had undetermined circumstances (338).

then there is this......

Tree map showing total number of gun deaths and how many were suicides and homicides

and then there is also this.......

Chart showing types of guns used in US murders

Having been aware of him at a safe distance for the past 35 years, when I was in commercial real estate in NYC in the 1980's, and since, it appears he was always insane, and depraved. Now, add to that completely unhinged. So, you have an insane, depraved man, devoid of morality, that is unhinged. Sound dangerous? He is an exceptionally dangerous man, and needs to be removed from his office, asap. At the very minimum, he is looking at a complete drubbing, in the next election, then likely a prison term for his lifetime of criminal activity. Say goodbye to Don Donald.

I am not qualified to judge the mental status of anyone. I leave that to the self appointed experts roaming this world. As for Piranha, she may be a singer, but not a licensed, mental health professional.

Is she a psychiatrist, or a psychologist or just some angry woman that thinks she is important making a statement she isn't qualified to make?

She is entitled to her opinion, as you are to yours....

You mean black on black shootings? Why not just say it?

I guess the difference between Rihanna and Trump is that this pic is Rihanna acting in a music video, while Trump is acting as the leader of the free world.

Yes, that is the difference.

Wow.
