This would destroy agents options for "flexibility' favouritism tea money and promotion. It has always been thus and is so utterly ingrained I cannot foresee it happening in our lifetime. So rather than rant we have the choice to go with the flow or just go. If you re read the complaints it is always about the time and money. Of course you can pay agents and people on real vacation or retirement have plenty of time. I don't think there is any more dislike of foreigners , once you understand it's all about the money. Many European Australian and US visitors have seen their purchasing power shrink due to exchange rates and low returns on savings. I do feel it outrageous that people who have paid for a visa to enter are denied on a whim.
