TheSwede99
Earlier year it was possible to get an extension with a certificate from the consulate / embassy. The question is, does it still apply to the countries that issue certificates? Can I still use a certificate from the Swedish Consulate that my pension is above the 800,000 baht limit to get a retired extension instead of 800,000 at the bank? ubonjoe
The Swedish embassy is still issuing proof of income. Immigration still accepts to apply for an extension of stay. You have to prove a income of at least 65k baht monthly income to apply for the extension.

theoldgit
Unhelpful post in breach of forum rules removed. English is the only acceptable language anywhere on ThaiVisa including Classifieds, except within the Thai language forum, where of course using Thai is allowed. Short Thai translation of technical terms is permitted in specialty forums.
Max69xl
The answer is yes. The only embassies that doesn't issue income letters are the UK,US and the Australian. If you want to know what documents the Swedish embassy/consulate issues, just Google Sweden Abroad Bangkok.
