webfact 78,247
Thundershowers forecast for upper Thailand, heavy rain in some parts By THE NATION Thundershowers are likely over the upper part of the country while isolated heavy rains and gusty wind are possible in the Northwest, the lower Central region and the East, including Bangkok and its vicinity, the Thailand Meteorological Department announced on Tuesday (October 15). Looking outside, blue sky and lots of sun in CNX. So Fake News. Well, we've had heavy rain in my part of Kalasin Province this afternoon, so for once I'll go with what the met office said. Got a feeling it might have been the wet season's swansong though.
George Aylesham 427
My accuweather app shows rain clouds on the satellite at 17.30 this afternoon. We have already had a heavy but brief shower this afternoon and the sky over the hang dong area is pretty dark. Kudos to the Thai Met - 'though weather forecasting is an inaccurate science they are 100% right to warn us.

aussie11950 346
Never heard of thunder showers. It sounds like an oxymoron. Thunder being the noise from lightning, and showers being just normal rain. Thunderstorms, heavy showers, torrential rain yes, its like saying storm rain lol
