How do you put money on someone's phone.

Recommended Posts

I have a AIS postpay account. My daughter is away at camp but wants me to put some money on her phone. How is that done?

Any 7/11, most ATMs, online banking if you have it.

I tried that site, when I click OK to do the transfer nothing happens. Maybe the site is not working?

I would try AIS mobile app first. If you are on a pc then try another browser.

Annoyingly, last week we  closed the account that we would use for that and setup a new one, but haven't set up the mobile bit yet.

You can use one of the orange Boonterm machines you see all over the place, including outside just about every 7-Eleven. They have a touch screen and an English menu.

You select top-up, choose the amount, enter the phone number and put in cash.

Phone is credited instantly. There is a small fee if you top up under 100 baht. No fee if the top-up is 100 baht or more. Take a few coins as change isn't given.

I forgot about that, ha.

Why don't you just top it up at an ATM?
