OK, so that's his main priority as a president, to troll the Dems. Good to know, it fits with his mental age and clearly shows he's totally unfit to lead anything except a gaggle of goslings (and even that is questionable).

The fact that he can get so much done....and still have time to stick to a bunch of sore losers whose

every waking thought is pre-occupied with how to take him down instead of legislating.....and still come out ahead.....speaks volumes for his energy.

Yes, he sure gets a lot of "executive time" and golf done.

But the wall that the Mexicans will pay for.....wait, that's Mexico's fault!!

Before he was elected:

“I would rarely leave the White House because there’s so much work to be done,” Trump, 69, tells ITK. "I would not be a president who took vacations. I would not be a president that takes time off. You don’t have time to take time off,” Trump adds. https://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/245884-trump-i-would-rarely-leave-the-white-house

After he was elected: TRUMP'S GOLFING HAS COST TAXPAYERS $102 MILLION, JUST $12.7 MILLION BEHIND OBAMA'S TRAVEL DURING ENTIRE PRESIDENCY: REPORT. https://www.newsweek.com/trump-golf-102-million-report-1432550

So nobody thinks that Trump expected the Dem outrage over this?

And did it anyway. He's the best at trolling these guys, he's in their

head 24/7

Probably a good strategy to get the Dems to open another investigation.

Because that's all they ever do. Genius!

It’s clearly a violation of the emoluments clause an impeachable offense one of many as far as the dems doing nothing that is untrue they  legislatiate a lot Moscow Mitch kills it so therefore it’s the republicans who do nothing as far as trolling that’s about all trump does

Seemed like kind of a half-baked plan anyway. No one in Florida had been informed.

We've got his fan boys here saying he loves trolling the Democrats and the media, but all of a sudden he is making this change based on them. Since when did he care?

It would have been a slam dunk for impeachment,  but just goes to show how little he thinks about the US Constitution that he even tried this.

Mulvaney is going on the Sunday shows, presumably to save his job(s).

He's got to defend both the quid-pro-quo kerfuffle ("we do it all the time...get over it"), and this G7/Doral cock-up.

Will be interesting to hear about the selection process for Doral, all while dissing Camp David (where a previous Gn summit was held), while the president seems to be considering Camp David now.

Seems like they could coordinate things a bit better? I've seen Lemonade stands run better than this WH.

What a wuss. Giving in to “crazed and irrational hostility.” What’s he gonna do next, abandon an entire people to ethnic cleansing just because a crazed and irrational leader screamed at him over the phone? Oh, wait...

Never forget what Bloomberg said about him --

Quote

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg Wednesday slammed Donald Trump as "a dangerous demagogue" and warned that "God help us" if the Republican candidate ran the United States like he managed his businesses.

"The bottom line is Trump is a risky, reckless and radical choice — and we can't afford to make that choice," Bloomberg, the three-term mayor and independent, told delegates to the Democratic National Convention at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Looks like the troll has retreated to his cave.

Notice how he doesn't take ownership for anything bad and takes credit for everything good (regardless of whether he had anything to do with it).

It’s actually amazing he didn’t blame someone else for the decision to host it there.

Had it gone ahead though, the one certainly is that it would be the only contractor he ever paid in full.

Probably not a conscious one but he does have a kind of natural talent for horribleness. He's kind of on automatic. Remember the debate -- HRC calling him a puppet of Putin. Then he says -- you're the puppet. He's being impeached and now he wants to impeach the people impeaching him but the trouble with that is that they aren't in impeachable offices. So these responses are ingrained in him by now.

He said he will take a them the the Supreme Court ???? like for a tour?  He doesn’t even know the Constitution ????

Thanks to the ruckus on Thaivisa the venue has now been shelved.

Ha ha. Um, no.

But in the spirit of your post, I’m sure it was because he realized in his good heart that it would be wrong to try and so blatantly personally profit off The Presidency.

Lara Trump was on television saying, glibly, no profit, all done "at cost".   Ok, but who's cost?

Previous life, involved in herculean efforts to move military flag officers into new, rented houses in elevated threat areas overseas.  It costs A LOT to harden, secure and maintain correctly.  The necessary Comm suite and related physical security standards alone, were a major undertaking. And that was just a 3-Star Admiral.  The offset being it's a longer term investment.

The changes made here, and in NYC, to POTUS level requirements, have got to be crazy.  In my mind, it's Fraud, Waste and Abuse considering it's for a temporary, elected official when suitable, government furnished accomodation/facilities are available; worse, the capital improvements are being made to his personal and business properties, which he will continue to benefit from after he leaves office.

Would love to have been a fly on the wall in these meetings/conference calls between high level legal and comptroller staff.
