Recommended Posts

Hi legends

sorry for not perfect English

so I stayed here in thailand about 17 years already with a marriage visa with my thai wife

I came here in 2002 with 43 baht = 1 US dollar and these years thai baht increased slowly and i and many foreigner have income from abroad while our income is fixed in our country but change to thai baht for making life here is necessary!!!

So ,,, Now and today 1 US dollar = 30 baht !! And we have here in thailand some inflation in some important price and making life is difficult more and more !!!

what is your opinion and what about you ??

actually i finding some serious problem for crazy increase thai baht against US dollar

what we can doing ?? Is any hope for better conditions or ???

Have you read all the other threads about the exchange rate scattered around the forums?

Been done to death (sorry English slang) many times. Quick search brings up -

One on the £ - https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1104354-can-the-pound-hold-39bt/

Other more general -

Some people are already on the last hole in their belts,

If they tighten anymore they will be cut in half, you just

have to do the best you can,in hope of better times.....

which at the moment never seem to be coming, as

Charles Dickens wrote...it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

My opinion is the same in all the many threads on this subject, if you come to live here plan it after analyzing exchange rates history in the past for Thailand.
