webfact Posted October 22, 2019 Share Posted October 22, 2019 City residents respond to BMTA's cashless service By THE NATION Bangkok Poll has conducted a survey on the readiness of Bangkokians for cashless service on public buses with 51.7 per cent acknowledging that Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) had started the service on October 1, 2019. 51.6 per cent were informed by mainstream and social media, while 31.7 per cent and 23.9 per cent learned about it from bus drivers, conductors and BMTA’s advertising video. 48.3 per cent did not know its existence.
