German man arrested in Chonburi for allegedly dumping woman’s body in canal

New Zealand man arrested for unlicensed business, drug possession

Immigration Police chief Lt-General Sompong Chingduang on Tuesday announced the arrest of [name removed] a New Zealand national, on charges of opening a restaurant and bar without a licence, working without a work permit, and allegedly possessing narcotic substances.

Indian coastguard shoot at Thai tourist boat as it enters India’s waters

On Tuesday (October 22), Ranong villager Supanya Nakthongkun told reporters that she had received a message from her son Witchanai, a member of the cruise ship that took 30 Chinese tourists on a diving trip near Myanmar, that the ship had been shot at by Indian coastguard when it entered Indian waters.

Video game show to stir creativity of Thai industry

The video game market in Thailand is expected to grow 13 per cent year on year to Bt22,000 million in sales this year, part of an estimated Bt140 billion for the Asean region, while the global market is currently valued at Bt4.6 trillion.

The National Hazardous Substances Committee (NHSC) has agreed, by majority votes, to ban the import, sale and use of paraquat, glyphosate and chlorpyrifos in Thailand from December 1st.

EC clears Thanathorn over his blind trust remark

The Election Commission (EC) has cleared Future Forward party leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit of any wrongdoing for his announcement, ahead of the March 24th general election, that he would transfer his assets into a blind trust.

LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Tuesday it was up to the EU to decide whether it wanted to delay Brexit and for how long, after a defeat in parliament made ratification of his deal by the Oct. 31 deadline almost impossible.

SOCHI, Russia/ANKARA (Reuters) - Syrian and Russian forces will deploy in northeast Syria to remove Kurdish YPG fighters and their weapons from the border with Turkey under a deal agreed on Tuesday which both Moscow and Ankara hailed as a triumph.

(Reuters) - China is drawing up a plan to replace Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam with an "interim" chief executive, the Financial Times reported, citing people briefed on the deliberations, which would bring to a close Lam's rule after months of often-violent pro-democracy protests.
