Anythingleft?
Has anybody got any experience of using mequin for prevention of malaria For example is there a consequence for using it for too long? ie over a two year periodIs it really necessary to take it? This is due to working and travelling through high malaria exposure areas on a rotational basis Any feedback gratefully received..... Sheryl
It s completely unnecessary to take malaria prophylaxis in Thailand, or Cambodia, or VN and also most (but not all) of Laos. Transmission is limited to deeply forested areas on the border. Even the nearest villages to these areas are malaria free. In addition there is resistance to the drug you mentioned. Which does indeed have some very nasty side effects
Anythingleft?
Hi, the areas I travel to are in West Africa and a treatment (of any type) is required to be taken by my employerThe doctor mentioned side effects of psychosis and said that melanone? was preferable but not available hereBeen using mequin for about four months and had no noticable side effects so far, just wondered on the long term effects if any to continue to use it...Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
