LONDON (Reuters) - The 39 people found dead in the back of a truck near London were Chinese, ITV News reported on Thursday, as police questioned the driver of the vehicle who was detained on suspicion of murder.

Govt borrows Bt348 bn to cover fiscal 2019 deficit

Appeal for blood donations as reserves fall

The National Blood Centre of the Thai Red Cross Society has appealed for blood donations from the public due to its low reserves even as demand for blood from hospitals nationwide has risen to 2,600-3,000 units per day. The shortage of blood is forcing many patients to postpone surgery.

The number of subscribers is limited to one million per day and registration will be open for just three days.
