If so Ivanka could become VP or Eric and Pence could resign. From the little googling I did it seems indeed Pence picks. Ivanka and Eric are articulate and would be formidable candidates for the GOP. They would claim center stage immediately. They would automatically get any Trump vote from the base and people who feel the dems attempted to steal the office. Bring it on either way. One can only hope both Ivanka and Eric are destined for federal prison. The US has already had enough of that noxious family.

He did indeed have loads of personality, and would have made a great cabaret artiste. Sadly he became president instead. Al Gore should have won except for funny business in the count, so he did win the personality contest. I'd have voted for him. Sadly we got Bush the younger and Iraq. John Kerry should have won, but the swiftboat lies sunk him, so he won that personality contest. Trump if he was less caustic would win a landslide He only won BECAUSE he was caustic. Trump hasn't started pointless wars based on lies that killed and maimed thousands of Americans or caused economic chaos like the 2007 catastrophe. Reagan had the Nicaragua illegal war on his watch, and wasted billions on the moronic star wars project, but he was revered. So what, apart from Trump liking women that he isn't married to, and being a tv reality show host, is it that people hate so much about Trump? What could be worse than Bush's evil war that he started, apparently because he didn't like Saddam?

What could be worse than Bush's evil war that he started, apparently because he didn't like Saddam? It's nothing like that now. I returned home to the USA a bit over two years ago. I mistakenly walked into it thinking things hadn't changed that much. I was married to my husband by a British priest. Everybody assumed because we are gay we must be part of the resistance. I didn't know anybody so they suggested they could get a few friends to show up. A few hours later I noticed on FB the group was making anti-Trump signs to make my wedding to a foreigner a political statement. The wedding was in a public park. I didn't plan it that way for another reason than it was free and didn't need the small town film crew. They use anything or anybody they can. They were shocked that I was opposed to it. That was my first taste of the "resistance" You are with them are against them. I was fairly liberal my entire life and still actually am. I have never encountered their special breed of bullying, peer pressure and anti-fa. I didn't have a house so I stayed with the priest instead of an Airbnb. What a mistake he was foaming at the mouth about Sean Spicer from morning until night. I kept my mouth shut. I remember when the religious wing of the right were insufferable bastards. This was a whole new level.

It also is doomed to fail. Thus far it has been all the dems pushing whatever agenda they want because they won't take a vote to impeach. The republicans will get their chance to respond once that happens. There is no way it is settled in a year. That means there will be an election. It is also the easiest way to get rid of Trump. Try it sometime.

It is very true that Bush and especially Cheney lied, cajoled, and cheated, to start the Iraq war, which has turned out to be a historic catastrophe. However, in comparison, Bush Jr. seems like a man of dignity, charm, humor and decency, next to the conniving circus clown we now have to suffer through. Trump has lowered the bar, when it comes to class, smarts, the ability to negotiate anything at all, and competence. He is so far out of his league, and does not even know it. An IQ of 94 can be a dangerous thing, when given enough power and influence.
