I'll take your word for it but the currnt Luke is said to be 43. Luke Cook must be 40+ now.

On looking at the OP again, agree, looks nothing like Luke Cook.

His name is Luke Anderson, according to this article from Associated Press.

"Police say they arrested Luke Anderson on Thursday after meeting with Australian Embassy officials on the problem of outlaw motorbike gangs. They say they have revoked his visa and will deport him."

The vast majority of Aussie bikers were run out of Pattaya a couple of years ago. Very few, if any around now. I think "Big Oud" has missed the boat.

You will find different if you go to a certain Aussie pub on Thapraya or a GG bar on LKM. The should not be allowed to wear their 'colours' when out and about.

So the big cop announced publicly that they will now arrest the biker, giving him notice to hide, quickly move across a border and further etc.

Do they even learn about strategic approaches to their work?

The BIB took their training from an old movie called "CASABLANCA"  ...

where the head policeman , Capt. Louis Renault,

tells RICK ( Humphrey Bogart) that he will be raiding his bar tomorrow night ......

and Rick rips up his overdue gambling debts !

the Australian biker gang the Hells Angels.

Is the writer of this piece not aware that the Hell's Angles are not an "...Australian biker gang..." but are an organisation that originated in the U.S.A.?  The gangs in other countries are affiliated and each consists of Chapters, as they are in the States.

Despite the  generalized image of  "gang" members  being scruffy leather clads  with  "patches" there  are  good percentage who are  well educated  professionals  such as  legal beagles and who  at  appropriate time present as  such. And as such and using legitimate legal status as  members of  registered "clubs"  it is not as simple as  just the  banning of patches in differentiating activities that are legal or illegal.

It could  be argued  that such "clubs" on an international basis as as legitimate  or illegitimate as Masonic Lodges, religious  affiliations, etc. All  can and have been identified as  having  carried  out  extremes  by individual members that are  not  sanctioned  under normal social law of order. And at the same time  such aforementioned have been witnessed  to having displayed socially  welcomed  activities.

Consider  historical outcomes  of  political partisans , parties or individuals.

if there were to be a  blanket  ban  on  any and all in denial of individual freedoms of association of any idealistic conviction we would be even more as a generic ant nest. How strange humanity is in that it so  readily accepts distortions of social justice while in doing so creates  the cause of with apathy and resignation to the  fact !

Organizations such as Hells Angels utilize  every aspect of social apathy to reap power from  the good, the  bad, the ugly that fascinates  the ignorant !

Hells Angels are the singular largest supplier of speed/meth in Aus.  Not sure the Masons comparison makes much sense.

Many 1% MC clubs in Thailand.  Some filled with police and hiso government people.  They have no clue what a "1% MC club" really is here.

Most MC clubs acknowledge that the police are at the top of the heap here in Thailand ... not the 1% MC clubs.

it will be interesting to look how long time it take to see news about dead police in pattaya area. Hells angels is not known to let things like this pass.

Dream on - too much Hollywood and not enough reality mate.

HA would last about 30 seconds if they tried that here. Not all law enforcement is like the plod you see.

Saw a half-doz. of the patched-over,burly,tatted-up <deleted>, huffing & puffing around Chiang Mai's Night Bazaar a few evenings ago. Its comical observing them wondering around like they own the place.....maybe they do?

a little story, i was in Amsterdam some years ago, when some angels came into the bar, boasting about a recent escapade, to set the secene,  (we had a local biker gang in my town, who would get <deleted> up and fight amongst themselves), so these guys were getting annoying now, i piped up Hells Angels, thats old hat now, in my town we have a biker gang and the only admission price to join is you have to kill someone, i was warming up now, the time i left that bar, they were lapping up every lie spilling from my mouth. ha ha
