Freezing out there

Some real OCD people on here who are constantly checking thermometers in different locations, and basing life choices on that.  What if the thermometer was wrong or incorrectly calibrated?  Would you wear your shorts, tank top and socks & sandals combo if the thermometer said +30°C but it was really -20°C ?  Could have fatal consequences.  Seems wiser to use common sense and innate human sensing functions developed over tens of thousands of year than some cheapo device.

Yes, I always walk out naked to check the temperature. If there's a booming sound like church bells, it means it's -20 and time to go back in to thaw ze old nuts. Why bother with such silly inventions like temp meters.
