Thai government to slap CO2 tax on big bikes

CO2 from burning a few fields each month outweighs all the bikes in the country for an entire year!

However, big bikes aren't a normal thing here.... look at the Mall parking - now not only are you penalised 10 baht for going on a scooter and taking up 1/4 the space of a car, they also brought in superbike parking to fine you 30 baht for taking up maybe 1/3 the space of a car.

They don't even give you the option of taking a full and FREE car parking space for your money!

All malls that I know in Phuket like Central, Tesco, Big C etc have free motorbike parking while cars pay (after a certain amount of free time). Same for other places that I've been to.
